Projectile Motion


What is projectile motion? projectile motion is the path that an object follows at the point it as the effect of gravity. such as flicking a penny off a table or even shooting a gun, the bullet has a projectile motion. Everyone uses projectile motion at one point of their life. If it's playing basketball, throwing a paper plane, and even you shoot a gun.

Gravity is Always pulling down. So if an object is shot directly stright froward,the initail point of take off, it's falling. but gravity is only one of the subjects we'll cover.

The Begining: The frist scientist who made his theroy of projectile motion was Galileo. Galileo (2/15/1564-1/8/1642), He was a major physicist in his time who wanted to just understand the universe. In the 1580s the physicists thought that objects flew stright then lost its momentum and just dropped. Niccolo Tartaglia was a mathematician who studied cannonballs. Which he found out that cannon balls don't fly stright and then drop but they actally carve and then are forced
